Lisa Hurst Dance is an independent dance company that is based in Lincoln, United Kingdom (UK). It started out with one adult dance class a week in Dunholme. During this time, Lisa worked across the region delivering sessions for local authorities, School Improvement Services and local arts companies. Since then Lisa has developed and expanded Lisa Hurst Dance to deliver sessions for both children and adults in
Dunholme, Fiskerton, Birchwood and Lincoln.
In a short amount of time the school has grown in popularity and recognition offering something different to traditional dance schools.
We offer Dance classes in convenient locations near you with classes adding to the timetable regularly including Ballet, Tap, Street Dance and Acrobatics, a friendly environment that allows you to embrace your inner dancer as well as high quality dance provision all at pocket friendly prices. So whether you are just starting out or have been dancing for years we have different styled classes to suit everyone.
As well as running sessions within the community Lisa Hurst Dance runs sessions in schools for after school clubs as well as sessions during school hours delivering the national curriculum. We can tailor a dance session, workshop or programme for your needs. Some of the things we can do and deliver are:Lunch and After School Sessions, Curriculum based sessions, PE Sessions, PPA Cover and working with mature adults who may have visual or physical impairments
Lisa Hurst Dance is currently a member of UKA Dance and BBO Dance. This allows us to enter candidates for examinations and medal tests. We are also members of CDET (Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre). CDMT provides quality assurance.
